CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
Snoop Dogg, The Avett Brothers and The Black Keys will headline this summer's three-day Bunbury Musical Festival at Sawyer Point and Yeatman's Cove.
PromoWest Productions, based in Columbus, purchased the festival in December and say the headliners will bring the perfect musical mix to Cincinnati.
“We wanted to diversify it a little bit, the festival as a whole. So there's rock, there's folk, there's urban. It's a wide variety,” said Scott Stienecker, President of PromoWest, Thursday on the FOX19 NOW Morning News.
Two main stages will anchor each side of the park with two smaller stages in between. Stienecker says the setup allows for bigger acts and non-stop music starting at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
The festival runs June 5, 6, and 7. Ohio-natives The Black Keys headline Friday night, The Avett Brothers on Saturday and Snoop closes out the weekend.
"We are excited to expand into the Cincinnati market. We have strong relationships with the bands that play Bunbury as they play our venues throughout the year," said Stienecker.
