HEBRON, KY (FOX19) -

Winter weather is causing travel problems for passengers at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

If you're heading to the South Thursday morning, you'll definitely want to check your flight status. Several flights are canceled or delayed. Snow is expected to change to freezing rain in Georgia.

Two departing, 5:45 a.m. flights to Atlanta are canceled. Some of the later flights to Atlanta are still scheduled, but that could change if conditions worsen.

Passengers will have a tough time flying into Charlotte, North Carolina. Four flights are canceled and four others are delayed.

Landing at CVG from Charlotte will be a problem as well. Four flights are canceled, and two are delayed.

Several flights to and from Chicago also were canceled.

Airports, particularly in the South, have to deal with snow removal, something they don't deal with on a usual basis.
