Four residents safely escaped a house fire early Thursday.
A woman was treated on the scene for smoke inhalation and is expected to recover, fire officials said.
Crews were called to the Woodlawn Avenue home near Dixie Highway about 5:30 a.m. Flames were contained in the basement, but smoke spread to the second floor.
The fire is being blamed on a furnace in the basement.
A damage estimate was not released.
