Teen indicted in Cheviot homicide

CHEVIOT, OH (FOX 19) -

A teenager was indicted this week in the fatal shooting of another 18-year-old back in November.

Kevin Mousie, 18, is held at the Hamilton County jail on $500,000 bond. A Hamilton County grand jury indicted him Wednesday in the Nov. 25 fatal shooting of Chandler Baker.

Mousie faces charges of murder, four counts of felonious assault and two felony tampering with evidence charges. He is accused of gunning down Chandler Baker near Applegate Avenue and Albert Street.

Another teen was charged in connection with in the case back in December. Kendric McCloud, 19, was indicted for involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence. He has pleaded not guilty and remains at the jail on $500,000 bond.

Cheviot police have said McCloud was driving a vehicle in which Mousie was riding when Mousie fired the gunshots.

Court documents show the shooting erupted over a drug-related dispute between Mousie and Baker.

Mousie is scheduled to go to court on March 6.
