Deer rescued from frigid Colerain Twp pond

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Colerain Township firefighters rescued a deer that slipped into a residential pond early Friday.

Crews pulled the animal from frigid waters by 7 a.m. after responding to Bank Road near West Kemper Road earlier Friday.

The owner warmed his animal with blankets and a propane heater.

Officials say the deer has been moved to the woods and will be fine.
