Search suspended for woman and boy swept away in California creek
Emergency workers have suspended the search for a woman and her son, who fell into a rain-swollen creek in Southern California. Witnesses say the 12-year-old boy fell into the San Antonio Creek while he was washing his hands and his mother jumped in after him. The creek is 45 miles northeast of Los Angeles. It's been filled by recent heavy rains and runoff from melting mountain snow. An eleven-year-old boy drowned in the same waters Sunday after being swept under by a 25 mile-per-hour current.
