CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

UPDATE: Blake Seylhouwer posted bond on Monday and was released from the Hamilton County Justice Center. Below is the original story.

The Madeira man who shot at his wife at their home in Madeira in August was found guilty of two counts negligent assault Friday.

A jury found Blake Seylhouwer guilty of two counts negligent assault.  The jury did not find Seylhouwer guilty of felonious assault and was hung on a domestic violence charge.

He will be sentenced on March 25.

Police say Seylhouwer fired a shot at his wife Misty after she turned her back to walk away during a domestic argument on Aug. 12 of last year.

According to police, the bullet struck the driveway and fragments hit Misty, causing injuries to her leg, chest, neck and head.

In the 911 call, he said he accidentally shot her while taking his rifle out of his truck. When police arrived, they found that Misty had been hit by shrapnel from a hunting rifle bullet.

She sustained injuries to her face, neck, abdomen and leg. She was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center and was released the next day.

According to police, the Seylhouwers had an argument earlier that day and Blake returned to get some of his personal items.

When he got there, the argument continued and he fired the gun.

The Seylhouwer's two children were in the home at the time but were not injured.
