This weekend: Reds HOF offering free entry to first 500 fans

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum is offering free admission for the first 500 fans each day Saturday and Sunday.

The Moerlein Lager House will also be giving away a free commemorative pint glass that features the Reds Hall of Fame logo.

Special programming, activities and raffles are scheduled for each day.

Some of the activities include:

Saturday, Feb. 28, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • 10 a.m., Reds Hall of Fame and Museum opens with free ticket vouchers
  • 1-2 p.m., MLB All-Star Game chat and autograph signing with Reds Hall of Famer and 1963 All-Star Jim O'Toole.
  • 2-3 p.m., the brewers from the Moerlein Lager House will tap a special keg of Handlebar Stout at Moerlein Lager House with tasting samples available.
Sunday, March 1, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • 10 a.m., Reds Hall of Fame and Museum opens with free ticket vouchers
  • 1-2 p.m., MLB All-Star Game chat and autograph signing with former Reds player, 1999 All-Star and Rookie of the Year Scott Williamson.
  • 2-3 p.m., the brewers from Moerlein Lager House will tap a special keg of Handlebar Stout at Moerlein Lager House with tasting sample available.
