FORT WRIGHT, KY (FOX19) -

The Fort Wright Police Department is looking for a suspect that robbed a Citizens Bank.

According to police, around 4:00 p.m. on Monday the suspect entered the bank on Valley Plaza and immediately displayed a handgun. The suspect gave a plastic bag to a teller and demanded the money that was in the drawer. While the teller was emptying the drawer, the suspect allegedly pointed the gun at the employees.

The suspect fled on foot around the building towards a Wal-Mart. He is described a white male, 5-feet-11 inches with a slim to medium build. During the robbery the suspect wore a black mask, a blue hoodie with 'Wildcats' printed on the front, baggy jeans and black shoes.

Police say a bomb threat at two local schools earlier in the afternoon may have been related to the robbery. A male called 911 from a pay phone advising a bomb was going to explode in St. Agnes Elementary School and Holmes High School. Both schools were search and cleared.
