President Bush was a man about town Wednesday night, swinging through three inaugural dinners and attending a ball that was one of the hottest tickets in Washington.
The president ended his night of pre-inaugural partying at the the Black Tie and Boots Ball, telling the Texas gala, "It's nice to be home." The invitation called on party-goers to wear formal gowns or tuxedos complete with bolo ties, cowboy boots and cowboy hats. Bush says America loves freedom and everybody deserves to be free.
The president drew large cheers when he told the crowd he hasn't "forgotten where I came from," adding, "After I give it my all for four more years, I'm coming home."
