CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

With Jim Scott's retirement announcement, another local radio personality leaves our storied tradition.

Radio has a steep tradition in Cincinnati, going back to 1921, when WMH, Cincinnati's first commercial radio station, took to the airwaves. The following year, WLW joined and in 1928, it was granted 50,000 watts, the most ever by a radio station. On a clear night, listeners could hear WLW from New York to Florida.

And our list of great radio personalities is extensive. Ruth Lyons, Bob Braun, Dusty Rhodes, Bob White and, of course, Jim Scott.

We want to know who your favorite Cincinnati radio personality is. Take the poll at the bottom of the page.
