High water forces Kellogg Ave. closure

ANDERSON TWP, OH (FOX19) - High water will force a portion of Kellogg Avenue to close at noon on Wednesday, the Hamilton County Engineer's Office says.

Kellogg at Belterra Park Gaming and at mile markers four and eight will be shut down.

Officials have not said when the roadway could reopen.

A flood advisory remains in effect for the Ohio River at Cincinnati until Thursday morning. The river stood at 50.5 feet on Wednesday, nearing the flood stage of 52 feet.

Kellogg Avenue and River Downs are the first to be hit when the river crests, said Hamilton County Engineer Ted Hubbard.
