CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Bengals officially announced on Wednesday the re-signing of veteran G Clint Boling and the addition of veteran free agent LB A.J. Hawk. The Bengals also re-signed OT Eric Winston and CB Chris Lewis-Harris. Lewis-Harris had been tendered
by the club as an exclusive rights free agent.

Hawk, an Ohio native from just up the road at Centerville High School, was a first round draft pick by the Packers out of Ohio State. Hawk led Green Bay in tackling five times over the last nine seasons.

“The Bengals were 100 percent my first choice,” said Hawk who signed a two-year deal in Cincinnati. “They have so many great players here and they're so young too. They want to run fast and hit people. That was appealing to me.”

Boling, a fifth-year NFL player, started 44 games over the past three years, mostly at Left Guard. His reported five-year deal worth $26 million, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, keeps him in Cincinnati through the 2019 season.

“The focus all along was to get something done here,” said Boling. “I like what we have going here. I think we can continue to build and make a run in the playoffs. I wanted to be here. I like playing for Marvin [Lewis]. I like play for
Paul Alexander. I enjoy it here.”

“It was really important for us,” said Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis. “It was a priority this offseason to get Clint [Boling] signed back.”
