Grand jury indicts Tracie Hunter

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Convicted Hamilton County Juvenile Court Judge Tracie Hunter has been indicted again.

A grand jury handed the indictment down on Thursday, charging Hunter with one felony count of misusing a county credit card.

Court documents claim Hunter put more than $1,000 on the county card from Nov. 4, 2013 until Nov. 20, 2013. It's a version of a charge that she has already faced.

"It's not based on new conduct. Not based on new evidence. It's a derivative of the first charge," said defense attorney Clyde Bennett.

A jury in October found Hunter guilty on one felony count of having an unlawful interest in a public contract. Her 6-month sentence was delayed pending an appeal.

Bennett said he plans to file a motion to dismiss the new indictment against Hunter.

Hunter's second trial is scheduled to begin on June 1.
