High water causes problems for Anderson Township drivers

Kellogg Ave. Friday morning. (FOX19) Kellogg Ave. Friday morning. (FOX19)
ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - High water is forcing portions of Kellogg Avenue to close in Anderson Township.

Several areas of Kellogg have been blocked off and then re-opened, only to be closed again. The roadway from eight mile to four mile is currently shut down.

Police responded early Friday morning when a vehicle became stuck in the high water on Kellogg. Officials are advising motorists to avoid the water covered roadways. Kellogg at Sutton in front of Coney Island is also closed.

Access to Belterra Park is blocked by water in certain areas. You can call the park's main line at (513) 232-8000 to hear how they are handling flooding concerns.  The business is open, but has limited parking and entrance options.

The Hamilton County engineer's officer is monitoring the situation, but with more rain in the forecast, it will take a while for this area to
dry out.
