CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Green Township terror suspect will appear in court Tuesday for a motion hearing on his access to a telephone in his jail cell.

Christopher Cornell will appear in front of Judge Sandra Beckwith on Tuesday at 3 p.m.

On March 9, the federal government filed a motion to have Cornell's phone in his cell to be removed.  The motion states Cornell's access to a telephone raises security concerns.

As of Tuesday (March 16), Cornell can reach through his cell bars and call whoever he likes. The phone calls are taped, but that is the only prerequisite.

The alleged terror suspect could attempt to contact other individuals who are giving material support to a terrorist organization, according to the government. This comes in light of Cornell's interview with FOX19 NOW
