AirCare called to U.S. 52 accident in New Richmond

NEW RICHMOND, OH (FOX19) -

Police said fog was a factor in a New Richmond accident that has sent two people to the hospital, one with severe injuries.

According to the New Richmond Police Department, a Chevrolet Tahoe hit a Kia Soul at the intersection of State Route 52 and Sycamore Ave.

The driver of the Kia was taken by AirCare to an area hospital with severe injuries. The driver of the Tahoe was also transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

U.S. 52 was temporarily closed but has since reopened.
