Convicted felon charged with sex crime at Hamilton County jail

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A convicted felon is accused of committing a sex crime at the Hamilton County jail over the weekend.

Sheriff's deputies say a 44-year-old Marcus Turner had sexual contact with a woman without her consent at the facility on Sycamore Street Friday.

Further details were not released.

Turner is scheduled to face a judge at 9 a.m. Monday on one count of sexual imposition, a misdemeanor.

He has a lengthy criminal record, Hamilton County court records show. He has been convicted of several crimes including: drug possession in 2011, possession of cocaine in 2001 and 2005, assault in 2000 and 2007 and escape after leaving a Cincinnati halfway house without permission and failing to return in 2007.
