From pub crawls to lively family-friendly festivals, there is no doubt about it: There's nothing quite like St. Patrick's Day in Cincinnati. 

It's a holiday when the Irish taverns are packed, jovial crowds jam the city streets and beer turns emerald green.

Throughout the month, both locals and visitors alike go green all across town in celebration of Irish culture and tradition.

Between the neighborhood festivities and Celtic performances — there is no shortage of ways to celebrate:

  • Haps Irish Pub begins festivities at 7 a.m. Located at 3510 Erie Ave.
  • St. Patrick's Day Celebration - Public Library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County Main Library, 800 Vine St., Downtown. Celebrate with music by Foley Road and performances by McGing Irish Dancers. Free. 513-369-6900; www.cincinnatilibrary.org.
  • St. Paddy's Day Celebration, 7 a.m., Molly Malone's Irish Pub and Restaurant, 112 E. Fourth St., Covington.
  • St. Patrick's Day Celebration, 6 a.m., Cock & Bull English Pubs: 601 Main St., Covington. 2645 Erie Ave., Hyde Park. 275 E. Sharon Rd., Glendale. Green beer, Guinness pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, corned beef and cabbage. Free t-shirts to first 500 customers; 513-533-4253
  • St. Patrick's Day Celebration, 7 a.m.-11 p.m., The Pub Crestview Hills, 2853 Dixie Highway. Annual St. Patrick's Day celebration. Kegs and eggs, Irish food, live entertainment and drink specials. Ages 21 and up. Free admission.
  • St. Patrick's Day Craft, 4:30 p.m., Forest Park Branch Library, 655 Waycross Rd. Children can make St. Patrick's Day craft. Free. Registration required. 513-369-4478; www.cincinnatilibrary.org.
  • St. Patrick's Day Party, 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Fountain Square, Fifth and Vine streets, Downtown. Irish food, Irish music and Irish liquid refreshments. www.myfountainsquare.com.
