MASON, OH (FOX19) -

Procter & Gamble announced Tuesday the company has selected Mason as the home for its new Beauty Innovation Center.

As a result, P&G research and development staff from the Sharon Woods Innovation Center in Blue Ash will be relocated to the new facility in Mason Business Park.

The company said the move will bring the whole Cincinnati-based beauty technical community together at the same site.

The construction of the new facility will cost approximately $300 million.

Currently, 1,150 P&G employees and 200 contractors work at the Sharon Woods facility.

The move to Mason is expected to be complete in 2018-2019.
