HARTWELL, OH (FOX19) -

A marijuana growing operation was discovered when Cincinnati police responded to a home invasion robbery overnight.

Officers were called to a residence on Woodbine Avenue near East Galbraith Road about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. Three adults said two masked and armed men and a woman had just burst in, said Lt. Tim Brown, the night chief.

They stole a small amount of marijuana and cash before taking off.

No one was hurt, but police observed what appeared to be a drug growing operation.

They are holding the three adults in custody while they obtain a search warrant to go through the house.
