LOWER PRICE HILL, OH (FOX19) -

A 31-year-old man is expected to survive after crashing his vehicle into a car and then a house Monday night, Cincinnati police said.

Officers responded to State Avenue near Shelby Street about 10 p.m.

They found the victim trapped in the rear vehicle. Once the man was freed, he was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, said Lt. Tim Brown, the night chief.

Authorities plan to test his blood to check his sobriety level at the time of the crash.

No one else was hurt.

State Avenue was shut down in the area for about 90 minutes.
