EAST END (FOX19) - It has been more than a week since some Tri-State communities flooded from the Ohio River, but cleanup continues.

At Schmidt Field on the city's East Side, crews have a lot of work ahead. We caught up with workers as they were using front loaders to move the mud and begin the long process to getting this park back in order.

It's a similar story over in Northern Kentucky.

In Covington, clean-up started right away because public works crews say it's a process they have to stay ahead of.

As soon as the water began to recede they began scraping the silt and mud away, then rinsing and cleaning.  Crews have been out doing this daily and say they will keep at it until things are back to normal.

For residents facing flood cleanup, Cincinnati city officials say they also have put a roll off box on Setchell Street where citizens can drop off any personal items damaged during the flood that need to be disposed of.
