Police say a Butler County inmate charged with trying to kill his wife twice, tries again from behind bars. Christopher Rezo is now facing new charges and detectives say the've never seen anything like this before.
Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones, " In my entire career I've never witnessed anyone go tot he extreme to have someone killed."
According to police Christopher Rezo tried to drown his wife Amy in a hotel bathtub, and when he made bail on that charge, they say he went after her again, hiding in her van and shooting her twice in the head. Jailed for a second time, investigators say Rezo tried to hire a hitman to kill his wife, her mother and her brother, but the hitman was an undercover detective.
Rezo is now charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit murder.
