Queen City baseball exhibit opens at Museum Center

A new baseball exhibit highlighting the Queen City's relationship with our national pastime opens this weekend at the Cincinnati Museum Center.

The 'Queen City: Diamonds and Stars' exhibit opens to prepare for Opening Day and this year's All-Star Game.

The display will feature materials from the early days of Cincinnati baseball in the 19th century through the modern era. Items in the exhibit include player's contracts, autographed baseballs, brick from Crosley Field and baseball cards from the early 20th century.

Relive the 1919 'Black Sox Scandal' and listen to one of the famous rain delay broadcasts of Reds' play-by-play announcer Waite Hoyt.

The exhibit is free to the public and open through July 26.
