Opening Day parking and directions

It's recommended to get to the ballpark early. Gates open typically 90 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the game.

Parking is available in many of the lots north of Third Street. It is also available on East and West sides of the ballpark.

Most of the lots are based on a limited, first come, first served basis.

Central riverfront garage will open at 6 a.m. at all locations with availability on the West side at a $15 rate and in the east side with limited handicapped parking at a $20 rate. 

West lots will be open at 6 a.m. at a $10 rate. 

The East garage will be open at 6 a.m. at a $10 rate and the Broadway lot will be open at 9 a.m. at a $20 rate.

Directions to GABP:

Motorists are encouraged to use the following routes into downtown Cincinnati.

From Interstate 75 southbound:

  • Use the Freeman Avenue exit to Mehring Way to the Riverfront

From I-75 northbound:

  • Use the Fifth Street exit in Cincinnati, then go right onto Central Avenue to the Riverfront

From US 50 eastbound:

  • Take Second Street exit on the right toward Downtown/Riverfront
  • Stay on Second Street heading East, ball park will be on your right.

From US 50 westbound (Columbia Parkway):

  • Take Six Street exit
  • Turn left onto Sycamore Street
  • Turn right onto Third Street
  • Turn Left onto Walnut Street
  • Turn left onto Second Street

From I-71 southbound

  • Use the Third Street exit to Central Avenue to the Riverfront

From I-471 northbound

  • Use the Third Street exit to the Riverfront

Parking for people with disabilities:

There is a limited number of parking spaces for people with disabilities available at the East Garage, the Great American Ball Park Garage and the Central Riverfront Garage.

A portion of Joe Nuxhall Way is reserved north of Mehring Way for dropping off and picking up people with disabilities who arrive in cars, vans and other vehicles with a capacity of 15 or less. 

Public transportation:

As an alternative to driving, fans are encouraged to use public transportation to obtain quick and convenient access to GABP.

The Southbank Shuttle, operated by the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK), will transport fans from Northern Kentucky to Great American Ball Park. Guests seeking bus service to and from Northern Kentucky can contact the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) at (859) 331-8265.

Queen City Metro can be reached at (513) 621-4455 for schedules and information regarding bus transportation throughout Hamilton County.

Taxis generally perform their pickups on Joe Nuxhall Way on the west side of Great American Ball Park at the conclusion of the game.
