Federal grand jury charges man accused of luring teen boys on Facebook in child porn case

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A federal grand jury charged a Cincinnati man accused of luring teen boys on Facebook and offering money for sex and naked pictures of the boys.

Martell Lowry, 25, was charged with seven counts of production of child pornography involving seven different minors and one count coercion and enticement, according to an indictment.  Each count is punishable by up to 30 years in prison and coercion and enticement  carries a maximum sentence of life in prison. Both crimes include five years of supervised release.

According to court records, Lowry allegedly used Facebook to contact young teenage boys for the purpose soliciting sex from juveniles.  Lowry allegedly offered o pay them to either let him perform oral sex on them or to send him nude photos of themselves. The investigation has identified 25 children as being victimized by Lowry between October of 2014 and February

The boys ranged in age from 12 to 17-years-old.

According to the indictment, Lowry allegedly enticed and coerced at least 14 minors to engage in sexual activity for which he could be charged with an offense.

Lowry remains in custody.
