OVER-THE-RHINE (FOX19) - Following the success in 2013 and 2014, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra announced that Lumenocity will return to Washington Park this August with some new changes.

The popular light show will be held for five days in August. Due to popular demand last year it was expanded to four total days.

A dress rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 5 with performances starting on Thursday, Aug. 6 until Sunday, Aug. 9.

This year the CSO announced that patrons will have to pay for tickets.  Tickets for the event have been free in the past.

Tickets for the dress rehearsal will be $15 with tickets for Thursday and Sunday being priced at $18 and $20 for Friday and Saturday.

According to their website, the price will cover the cost of the festival. The CSO says they faced a dilemma this year to either not present the concert, or to charge attendees a small fee.

Registration for the opportunity to purchase tickets for the general public is open now through May 16 at 10 p.m.  Those randomly selected will receive a code giving hem access to purchase tickets via Ticketmaster. Codes will be e-mailed to those selected on May 29.

Tickets for the event last year sold out in a matter of minutes.
