CINCINNATI (FOX19) -

Cincinnati will serve as the scenery for a James Franco produced film that's set to begin shooting next month.

The actor's Rabbit Bandini production company and Killer Films are joining forces for ‘Goat' - an adaptation of author Brad Land's memoir about fraternity hazing.

Goat is Killer Films' third local production. ‘Carol,' starring Cate Blanchett and ‘The Blunderer,' starring Jessica Biel, were shot at several greater Cincinnati locations last year.

“The Film Commission, the rebate, locations, infrastructure and film-friendly people of Cincinnati – have brought us back again," said producer Christine Vachon.

The cast of ‘Goat' has not been revealed.

Greater Cincinnati Film Commission says locals can get involved in the film by applying to be an extra or work with the crew.

If you're interested in applying to be an extra – send a headshot and email to: extrasgoatthemovie@gmail.com

If you are interested in crew employment, and are qualified, send resume: goatthemovieohio@gmail.com

The movie will hold an open call Saturday, April 18 at Northern Kentucky University's Fine Arts Building 220 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. For more information visit: www.extrasgoatthemovie.weebly.com
