A movie shot last year in Cincinnati will make its debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in the South of France next month.
'Carol,' starring Cate Blanchett, will vie May 13-24 with several other new films from across the world for the 68th annual event's top prize, the Palme d'Or.
The Todd Haynes' directed film does not yet have an American release date. Set in 1950s New York, the movie depicts the love story between a department store clerk and an older, married woman.
Earlier this week, the same production company behind 'Carol,' Killer Films" announced they will shoot 'Goat' here.
