CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Emergency crews rescued a man who went into the Ohio River Sunday.

Officials say the man jumped in the water from a barge at the Beer Sellar in Newport near the Purple People Bridge around 7:15 p.m. and floated until he was rescued at the Brent Spence Bridge.

According to officials, he was found with no clothes on.

The man is being held by police so they can perform a psychiatric evaluation, police said.
