A new pizzeria backed by Chipotle Mexican Grill will open later this year in Sycamore Township/
Pizzeria Locale opened four years ago in Boulder, Colorado by Bobby Stuckey and Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson. The pair is teaming up with Chipotle owners to bring the fast-casual pizza joint to Cincinnati.
The Sycamore Crossing pizzeria will seat 56 people with outdoor seating for 28.
This will be the fourth Pizzeria Locale location nationwide. The restaurant also has locations in Boulder, Denver and Kansas City.
“Cincinnati has been a vibrant market for Chipotle, and we are pleased to introduce its sister restaurant, Pizzeria Locale, to this vibrant community,” said Stuckey.
Pizzeria Locale reps say the menu offers classic pizzas as well as create-your-own combos presented in a service line similar to Chipotle's model. The pizzas are then fired in a high-temperature oven.
Wine, beer, side salads and appetizers will also be available.
Construction on the project will begin this Spring, according to a release from the company.
