CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
A $45 million apartment tower is slated for a prominent Downtown street corner.
Plans call for a 150-unit apartment building built above a 500-space parking garage and 10,000 square-feet of retail space in the former American Red Cross building on the corner of Eighth and Sycamore streets.
The Cincinnati Planning Commission recommends City Council approve plans to sell nearly 1-acre parcel for the development.
The city wants to partner with 3CDC (Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation) and North American Properties to develop the site.
It's unclear when construction will begin since Council still has to approve the property sale.
