Kroger, dunnhumby USA creates new business in Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Kroger announced Monday that they have entered into a new long-term license and service agreement with dunnhumby Ltd. and has purchased certain assets from dunnhumby USA which will create a new business in Cincinnati.

The new business called 84.51° will operate with those assets as its foundation.

Mayor John Cranley praised the announcement from Kroger saying.

“This deal ensures that dunnhumby's employees will remain in Cincinnati. That's great news because it's a fast-growing company that adds value to our city. I want to thank Kroger for its commitment to our community," Cranley said.

According to a press release, 84.51° will be an innovation engine, focused on rapidly developing customer science, analytics and insights to bring new solutions to market to support Kroger, consumer packaged goods companies, and other partners. 84.51°'s headquarters will be in the building at Fifth and Race Streets, downtown Cincinnati.
