CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Most Greater Cincinnati hotels are sold out less than three months away from the All-Star Game and week of festivities July 11-15.

Still scrambling to find a room?  Limited openings at increased costs are still available in Northern Kentucky and near Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in Hebron; there also are vacancies in the northern Cincinnati suburbs and Dayton.

Hotel sell-outs are typical during All-Star week. Last year proved to be the exception in Minneapolis, where hotels didn't sell out until the week before the big game.

Fans are now looking at other options to find a place to stay close to Downtown.

You might want to check websites like airbnb.com where you can rent out someone's room in the area. These options are gaining popularity during events like All-Star Weekend.
