FOREST PARK, OH (FOX19) -

A man was stabbed and faces charges after police say he broke into the wrong apartment over the weekend.

Langstaff Dickerson, 33, argued with his live-in girlfriend and restrained her to prevent her from leaving before throwing her to the ground on Norbourne Drive off West Kemper Road at Mills Run Apartments early Sunday, according to Forest Park police.

The woman fled into their apartment.

Dickerson went after her, but kicked in the wrong apartment door. The residents inside feared for their life, and one of them stabbed Dickerson in the hand after he went in, police wrote in court records.

Dickerson ran off and tried to avoid responding police.  An officer shocked him with a Taser stun gun and took him into custody without further incident.

He is held without bond at the Hamilton County jail and is scheduled to face a judge Monday morning.
