Loved ones prepare for 8 Days of Greatness honoring Brogan Dulle

Eight days of greatness is a movement that has reached all 50 states and 5 countries. While the subject of suicide is tough, the Dulle family said they are focused on what the City if Cincinnati did for them.

The one year anniversary for the search of University of Cincinnati student Brogan Dulle nears, and his family members gather on Fountain Square for a way to thank the community for its continued support.

Dulle's cousin, Courtney Hass, said she remembers what she witnessed a year ago.

"We basically watched the entire city unite and come out to search for him," said Hass.

Spreading the word about their 8 Days of Greatness campaign. 8 signifies the number of days Brogan was missing before he was found in clifton, where he had taken his own life. His family said Brogan should be remembered as someone who strove for greatness in everything he did.

"Brogan use to tell his swimmers, 'do your best because this might be your last chance for greatness,'" said Hass.

The family's 8 Days of Greatness movement has gained a lot of positive national recognition, however hearts remain heavy.

"Every day is a challenge in some ways, we miss him dearly,” said Hass.

Keeping his spirit alive by asking people worldwide to do what feels right.

"We often forget, with how busy our lives get and things that come up, that we too can come together as a community and really do amazing things,” said Hass.

The flyers they were handing out today also has 8 characteristics of Brogan and they wanted to pass that along as well.

A launch party begins the campaign at Rhinegeist on Thursday from 5:30-7:30 all ages are welcomed.
