OVER THE RHINE, OH (FOX19) - IKEA West Chester is delivering new furniture Thursday to replace items stolen earlier this year at Over-the-Rhine Community Housing's Senior Center.

"We are very excited to give the residents a new look," said Kitalena Mason, IKEA spokeswoman. "It's our honor to work with a great organization that gives residents independence and security in a wonderful neighborhood. We are honored to be a part of this project and hope the kindness of other businesses and strangers will turn this unfortunate situation into a positive for the residents and community."

Chairs, a sofa, area rug, accent pieces, pictures and a framed Rookwood art tile were snatched from the Elm Street building Feb. 19.

The theft dismayed staff and seniors. They had lovingly collected the furnishings by shopping at IKEA, ReSource and other stores.

IKEA designers also are working with the group to create a new look for the lobby.

Standing alongside Putin, Trump steered clear of any confrontation with the Russian, going so far as to question American intelligence and last week's federal indictments that accused 12 Russians of hacking into Democratic email accounts to hurt Hillary Clinton in 2016.
