OVER THE RHINE, OH (FOX19) -
IKEA West Chester is delivering new furniture Thursday to replace items stolen earlier this year at Over-the-Rhine Community Housing's Senior Center.
"We are very excited to give the residents a new look," said Kitalena Mason, IKEA spokeswoman. "It's our honor to work with a great organization that gives residents independence and security in a wonderful neighborhood. We are honored to be a part of this project and hope the kindness of other businesses and strangers will turn this unfortunate situation into a positive for the residents and community."
Chairs, a sofa, area rug, accent pieces, pictures and a framed Rookwood art tile were snatched from the Elm Street building Feb. 19.
