Nationwide manhunt for suspect in fatal jewelry store robberies

There's a nationwide manhunt under way for a man accused of robbing four jewelry stores in New York and Connecticut over the last two months and killing three people. Authorities believe 23-year-old Christopher DiMeo fooled jewelry store employees by saying he was looking for an engagement ring before pulling out a gun and robbing them. He allegedly has taken nearly 300-thousand dollars worth of merchandise. The most recent attack was Wednesday night in Fairfield, Connecticut, where jewelry store owner Timothy Donnelly and his wife, Kimberly Ann, were robbed and killed. DiMeo is also accused of robbing and killing Thomas Renison in Glen Head, New York, in December and he's a suspect in two other robberies.
