Most flights aren't getting to the gate on time at the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport. The Bureau of Transportation Statistics says planes arriving at the airport got to the gate within 15 minutes of schedule only 66 percent of the time in December. That figure was the second worst among the nation's 31 busiest airports.
Only Philadelphia was worse at 63 percent. The Cincinnati airport had a bad December because of bad weather and problems at regional carrier Comair. The Delta subsidiary canceled its approximately eleven-hundred Christmas flights when a computer system used for scheduling flight crews failed.
Comair finished eleventh among major carriers in on-time performance for the year with a rate of 77 percent.
