Two police cruisers collided while responding to a pursuit overnight.
They were assisting Lockland police as they chased a fleeing suspect wanted on several felony drug warrants early Wednesday.
Lockland police stopped the man's vehicle at Central Avenue and Davis Street about 12:30 a.m.
He sped off but stopped on a residential lawn nearby at Central and Davis. He bailed and started running, leaving two passengers behind.
Meanwhile, two police cruisers collided on Davis Street as Reading Police Officer Frederick Ellison and Deputy Jeffery Rechtin responded to assist.
Ellison was treated at the scene and released. Rechtin was not hurt. Both wore seatbelts.
The suspect remains at large. His name was not released.
