CINCINNATI (FOX19) -

A year ago Monday, 21-year-old Brogan Dulle vanished after a night out with friends.

Thousands of people searched for the missing University of Cincinnati student, but his body was found eight days later in the basement of a home just steps away from his apartment.

His death was ruled a suicide.

Brogan's family and friends don't want him to only be remembered just for that tragic end.

Over the next week, all the good acts of kindness will be encouraged.

So far, all 50 states and at least five countries have joined the social media campaign that runs through May 25.

Participants who sign up with receive an email each morning with suggestions for spreading greatness within their community.

Brogan's mother, Beth Dulle, said the term "greatness" comes from a saying her son used as a swimmer and coach. Before a race, he would tell his team "this could be your last chance at greatness."
