A 45-year-old was arrested on Saturday after he tried to abduct a teen girl, Monroe Police say.
Ronald L. Clarke, of Middletown, is charged with attempted abduction for the incident, which took place around 11:30 p.m. at Bridge Creek Drive and Steeplechase Lane.
The 14-year-old's mother called 911 stating a man driving a white truck tried to pull her daughter into the vehicle, according to a press release from the department.
An officer stopped the truck at Clark Boulevard and State Route 63 and arrested Clarke without incident. He is being held at the Butler County Jail.
