Speed a factor in fatal motorcycle crash

ROSELAWN (FOX19) - Speed is a factor in a crash that killed a 29-year-old motorcyclist overnight, Cincinnati police said.

Garyson J. Kincher, 29, lost control of his 1999 Yamaha motorcycle as he traveled with two other motorcyclists on southbound East Seymour Avenue about 12:45 a.m., traffic officers said.

He ran off the left side of the road and slammed into a pole and the side of a building.

Kincher was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he died.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Police said speed is a factor. Alcohol impairment is unknown.

It also was not clear if he wore a helmet.
