Winton Hills Academy was placed under a precautionary lock down Thursday afternoon while police searched for a shooting suspect.
A 51-year-old man was shot in the lower groin around 1:20 p.m. in the 5000 block of Winneste Avenue, according to police.
The school, located in the 5300 block of Winneste, lifted the lock down by 2:30 p.m.
The victim's condition is unknown at this time.
The suspect, described by police as a male black wearing all tan clothing, remains at large. Police are currently tracking him in the area.
