2 charged after officials discover Anderson Twp. one-pot meth lab

ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Hamilton County Sheriff deputies discovered a one-pot meth lab after receiving information about a subject wanted on a felony sleeping in a shed in Anderson Township.

Officials were dispatched to YMCA Road near Round Bottom Road at around 7 a.m. Thursday. Upon arriving on scene, deputies found what had appeared to be a one-pot meth lab near the rear of the shed where the subject was sleeping.

According to Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Neil, Regional Enforcement Narcotics Unit (RENU) agents responded to the residence to confirm and removed the hazardous chemicals from the rear of the property.  During the investigation, RENU agents discovered other compents to manufacture methamphetamine.

Stephanie King, 46, was arrest on scene after being wanted on felony probation violation warrants and misdemeanor-capias for obstructing official business. She was also charged with illegal manufacture of drugs and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for manufacturing drugs.

Officials say Duke Haag, 40, was also arrested and charged with illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for manufacturing drugs.

No injuries were reported.

The incident remains under investigation by RENU.
