MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) - A racy social media page is causing a stir at a Tri-State high school, as police are trying to get to the bottom of things.

On Thursday, a school resource officer at Middletown High School says that a Twitter page was brought to his attention on Sunday. The page had posts of nude photos, and that's left police trying to figure out exactly what was on the page, who started it and who was on it, too.

"Nothing surprises me anymore,” said Jessica Whitaker, a parent from Middletown.

That Twitter page discovered by students at the high school may have surprised them.

"Very unsettling.  It makes me very uneasy,” said Paula Farley, a concerned parent.

A school resource officer said the Twitter user with the handle @noragrets513 had posted some nude photos. The photos were only pictures of bodies, and no face.  But, that doesn't make it any better because police, at this point, don't know if the photos are real or fake, of students or not, or if they're underage or of-age.

"You just have to be very cautious and be aware of everything at all times and just keep a close eye on what they're doing, and who has
access to your children,” Farley said.

The page in question is locked and appears that it's no longer in use.  Police say they've had it taken down.  The resource officer says some of the students have told him that they believe some of the photos are of fellow classmates.

"I would not want my kids to even know people that were involved in this stuff.  I wish that my kids didn't even have to hear about things like this,” Whitaker said.

That school resource officer says that some screenshots of posts were taken and are being used as evidence.  Police are continuing to investigate and say that this could come with very serious penalties and consequences.
