ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Six people, including three children, were stuck on the Pepsi Python roller coaster at Coney Island Amusement Park after a power outage in Anderson Township.

Dispatch says all six people were rescued and no injuries were reported.

One mother shared her daughter's experience on the ride while it was down.

"She came down with my aunt, and my aunt called and said she was stuck on the roller coaster. And our electric went out too, so when she told me she was still on the roller coaster 20 minutes later, I came down and they were bringing my daughter down on the ladder," said Emily Adkins.

According to Duke Energy, the outages were first reported at around 6:45 p.m. and up to 13,000 were without power on the East Side.

Power has since been restored in the Anderson Township area.

Duke Energy says damage to equipment is what caused the power outage.
