SOUTH FAIRMONT, OH (FOX19) -

A 31-year-old self-proclaimed graffiti artist admitted to spray painting his tag "Bando" on several properties, Cincinnati police said.

Brandon Jones approached a graffiti removal team working in the area of Harrison and Knorr avenues on April 21 and asked why they were removing "his tag," or artwork, court records show.

With his consent, the team snapped a photo of Jones.

When Jones was arrested two days later on an unrelated case, he told an officer he left his tag "Bando" on several properties in the neighborhood, records show.

A judge on Tuesday set Jones' bond at $32,000 for 16 counts of criminal damaging.
