CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
The Reds announced Thursday that they have partnered with Procter & Gamble for a second LED video board that will be installed at Great American Ball Park just in time for the MLB All-Star Game.
According to the Reds, the video display board, which if laid would span the entire length from home plate to first base.
The LED video board will be installed above the Sun Deck/Moon Deck seats in right field. Once installed, about 7,500 seats that have limited or obstructed views of the main scoreboard will directly benefit from the new video board.
“We are proud to partner with P&G on this project and excited to showcase the extensive brand portfolio of this iconic global company,” said Bob Castellini, Reds President and CEO, in a release. “We are grateful P&G continues to honor its local roots by supporting projects such as this.”
The Reds say that P&G will be providing financial support for the scoreboard.
Construction kicks off this week and installation of the new board is scheduled to be completed later this summer in time for the MLB All-Star Game on July 14 at Great American Ball Park which will air on FOX19 NOW.
